Mukesh M. Patel is a co-founder, principal investor and managing director of NextBridge Group, a private equity, alternative investment and opportunity firm. He is a partner and investor in several business ventures, including being a founding principal of commercial real estate syndications (office buildings, franchise hotels, and businesses), some involving special situation and opportunistic investments.  Mr. Patel co-founded several start-up ventures and managed a general practice business law firm for twelve years representing entrepreneurial and closely-held businesses in real estate, corporate law, commercial transactions, finance, and litigation.  He holds a Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University Law School (Deans List, Moot Court Board, National Trial Advocate).  Mr. Patel is a member of the NY and NJ Bars,  He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rutgers University as a Henry Rutgers Scholar, Merit Scholar, and member of the Cap & Skull Honor Society, with a B.A. degree in Economics & Statistics and minor in Filmmaking and Theater Arts.  He has been a guest lecturer and forum panelist at Rutgers University and New York University, and a former executive committee member of The Indus Entrepreneur (TIE) and other non-profit organizations. He is the inaugural recipient of the Rutgers University Alumni Entrepreneur of the Year Award as part of their Global Entrepreneurship Institute, and entrepreneur.com named him one of the top 30 movers and shakers in NYC’s start-up scene.

Mr. Patel partnered with other co-founders, entrepreneurs and investors in creating a broader network of strategic partners for the private equity firm.
